Larry joins EMA with over twenty-five years experience across a broad range of technical management and engineering roles. His expertise covers a diverse range of interests, including IT security and messaging. Larry’s experience working with third-party software and hardware vendors of all types has given him a unique perspective into both the product and services arenas around the industry.
At EMA, his focus will be on network management of IT environments, specifically focusing on management of network infrastructures, configuration of network environments, network provisioning, as well as the burgeoning area of product and service virtualization and its impact on network management. Larry will also have a focused emphasis in the areas of VoIP and wireless technologies.
Prior to joining EMA, Larry’s most recent position was as President of Solution Partners Group, a consultancy that focused on providing systems and network integration services for small and mid sized businesses (SMB). Working with SMB clients has allowed Larry to gain better insight and understanding of their needs and requirements, enabling him to develop and provide more targeted solutions.
During this time, Larry regularly served in a wide assortment of managerial and technical roles including systems engineering and integration, systems analysis, systems design, software engineering, network and system security, thin client engineering, business process re-engineering, and requirements definition. His technical management emphasis has been on working with small, integrated engineering teams involving multiple contractors and vendors, as well as customer and management representatives.
Additionally, Larry held the role of Microsoft Business Development Director for SSDS, Inc., where he managed business development, acquisition and marketing efforts. Starting out as a software developer, Larry has moved progressively through various industry ranks, holding a wide variety of technical positions.
Larry is an alumnus of the Denver chapter of the FBI Citizen’s Academy and is also a member of the Denver chapter of InfraGard, a nationwide citizen’s organization focused on protecting the nation’s infrastructure that works in conjunction with the FBI.
